R2: Resolution to Provide Childcare at DSA Meetings

Whereas:

Lack of childcare is an obstacle to working-class people, especially women, participating in DSA meetings;

Be it resolved:

Rhode Island DSA’s Executive Committee shall investigate options for hiring or having a rotating volunteer system of childcare providers (to be available upon any member’s request, for general meetings or other DSA events), with a goal of establishing a childcare system in the chapter by September 2023.
